The medicine referral service at Grove Lodge is run by Nicola Bromley one of our Clinical Directors. Nicola qualified from Bristol University in 1999 and went on to obtain her RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2006. Nicola has extensive experience of dealing with challenging medicine cases and has been taking internal and external referrals for the past 10 years. Nicola achieved her Advanced Practitioner status in 2015.
We are able to accept a diverse set of cases due to the benefit of having a multi-disciplinary team and excellent on site 24 hour veterinary and nursing care. Nicola is passionate about analgesia and has published an article of analgesic constant rate infusions in 'In Practice'. Nicola also has extensive experience in endoscopy and is happy take referrals in this area.
We are pleased to announce that we are expanding our medicine team with the addition of Suzi Bailey. Suzi graduated in 2007 from the Royal Veterinary College and subsequently undertook a years internship at the RVC. Suzi gained her RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Small Animal Medicine in 2014 and became an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine in 2015. Suzi especially enjoys ultrasonography, endoscopy and working through challenging medical cases. Suzi is also currently studying for her cardiology certificate which she is due to complete next year (2018)
